Physical therapy license holders has  many specialties including pediatrics, sports,  neurologic, wound care, EMG, cardiopulmonary, geriatrics, and orthopedic..

PTs practice in various settings, such as inpatient rehabilitation facilities, outpatient clinics or offices, skilled nursing facilities health and wellness clinics, extended care facilities, private homes, schools, hospices, education and research centers, , fitness centers, industrial and this workplaces or other job-related environments and sports training facilities.

Health care policy and other non patient care roles can also be practiced by a physical therapist. This non patient care roles include; health insurance, health care executives and health care administration. They are concerned in the medical-legal field serving as professionals, independent medical examinations and performing peer review.

 Physical Therapy License Education

It begins with admission to a credited physical therapy program, evidence and practice along a continuum of learning, then a physical therapist entry-level learning programs integrate theory, and ends with retirement from active practice

Education qualifications differ greatly from one country to another country. The span of education levels ranges from some countries having little formal education to others having doctoral degrees and post doctoral residencies and fellowships.

In most countries, physical therapists have to under go a series of educational programs for them to be fully qualified as health professionals.
